An AWESOME First Day of School
The after school report, "It was AWESOME. I CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK!"
She admitted to being scared when she got on the bus and only cried once when her picture tore - but I taped it when she got home so all is well. She LOVED music class, made a new friend named Mira (they actually played soccer together but don't remember one another) and was not impressed with the little boy with the "girls name" (Julian) who was "really really bad and wouldn't stop talking. He should go to the principal!" (while I'm hoping that doesn't eventually change, I'm fairly certain her dad may have spent a bit of time in the principals office sooooo maybe this little boy isn't all that bad).
She's super excited for tomorrow and didn't realize that she's lucky enough to take the school bus everyday! "SO COOL, MOM!"
Peanut butter-banana-honey sandwich is the special request for lunch so I guess I should go draft my napkin message.
Hard to believe my sweet little Gi is officially a school-ager...Here's to an AWESOME year.
She hopped right on...
...and didn't look back. I love you sweet girl. Have an AMAZING first day. I will be patiently (ok kind of patiently) waiting for your return.
The bus came early...
There was barely enough time to hug and say goodbye. She was a little surprised (and a tad nervous).
