A Weekend Re-Cap
So Grace was pretty busy last weekend. Saturday was spent at the pool with Auntie Laurel - until ANOTHER little Grace pooped in the pool THREE seperate times!!!! They actually had to close the pool down and send everyone home. Nasty.Sunday, Daddy, Grace, Stella, China and I went to La Due Reservoir to beat the heat. Stella loved her dip in the lake - China of course, hates water. Oh well. We had fun. Bought a new air conditioner for our bedroom, Grace's room gets the old one. Not that it matters, she'll be sleeping in our room until she's married :)
Don't you just love this dress? It's from Auntie Gwen! Love and miss you Auntie Gwen. Come visit us soon!
This weekend is a holiday. I will try to send pics of her in her new red/white/blue sundress.
BREAKING NEWS!!!!
Grace rolled over....
Ama said, "she was trying to crawl and she was pushing her self forward, then she just kind of got the legs and knees and hands together and over she went. Then of course she lay there like a little turtle"

Busy Day, Busy Day
The trip out with the clan yesterday afternoon went well - although I hear she looked a little like Winston Churchill in her hat. I'll see if I can capture that image on film for everyone to see.
Last night Ama, Auntie Christy, Grace and I went into town to hear a co-worker play in his Beatles cover band. What fun! They were awesome (Revolution Pie) She was very tired but managed to crack a few smiles. She met Margaret's parents and even sang a little tune to Mr. Thoren while holding his hand. I think she made his day.

A Nonnie Report from Arizona...

Nonnie is enjoying her time in Phoenix with Uncle Boo & Bompi. It's hot! But at least the air conditioner is able to cool the house to around 79 degrees....hey wait, that's Cleveland's high today. They have stripped the wallpaper in both bathrooms and are investigating what it would take to re-do the kitchen (cabinets, counter tops, appliances etc) A new kitchen....now that would be nice :)
Boo & Bomp took her out to dinner last night for her birthday and Boo had the restaurant sing to her. I bet she LOVED that!
Gardening with Ama!

Gracie spent yesterday gardening with Ama! What a beautiful job they did!
Ama reports Grace is trying so hard to crawl, she just can't coordinate her top half with her bottom half. Crawling?!?! Stella and China are going to LOVE that!!
Today, Grace, Ama, Papa & Great Grandmother Campbell are off to a doctors appointment. What a clan!

Happy Birthday Nonnie!

Nonnie is spending the week in Phoenix, cleaning out Bompi's house, ripping off wallpaper and packing up the remaining knick knacks. Hope she stays cool! High today is expected to be 114 degrees...but it's a dry heat, right?!?! OUCH!
She's got off the plane last night and walked right into a furnace. To quote, "it's amazingly hot!"
An Ama Day...

My first post
Well, I thought I finally join this century and start my Gracie blog. You would think, this being my profession (IdeaStar) and all, I would have caught on sooner? Cobbler, kids, shoes...how does that go? Anyway, this will be my official outlet to let you know how our beautiful girl is doing and, of course, show off as many pictures as I possibly can. Enjoy!
